The article examines the Chinese engagement in Arctic, with specific focus on large-scale mineral and infrastructure projects Greenland. Providing an important financial basis for potential Greenlandic independence, these also have significant environmental, geostrategic, political reverberations. This leaves a complex geopolitical context which Greenland will to navigate interactions China cautiously its path self-determination.
